Training & Scenario Development
Defense Training Systems employs Combat Veteran Marines and Army Special Forces Veterans as our Lane Controllers/Instructor Controllers. All of our LCs have significant training and combat experience and most have recent experience in either Iraq or Afghanistan.
DTS has experienced subject matter experts (SMEs) to bring to the task of crafting training events and scenarios that reflect the actualities of the environments units are training to. We have a demonstrated ability to work with units to take training objectives and build an appropriate training package to meet any unit’s specific requirements.

Training & Scenario Development: Example Training Lane
As part of our training efforts at Camp Lejeune DTS had the opportunity to build a five lane training package for USMC units deploying to Iraq. One of the training requirements was to train Marines to react to improvised explosive devices (IED). The following is an example training lane at the Camp Lejeune Military Operation and Urban Terrain (MOUT).
