Defense Training Systems has a proven track record of successful performance in the arena of live training. With experience across the United States with both the US Army and the United States Marine Corps, DTS is a demonstrated and reliable partner.

PM TRASYS
The Program Manager for Training Systems is the Marine Corps independent program manager assigned the responsibility of providing training support to the services to the USMC. DTS is currently under contract with the USMC, through PMTRASYS, to provide all pre-deployment training outside of Mojave Viper.
NATIONAL TRAINING CENTER (NTC)
The National Training Center located at Ft. Irwin is well known as a world class training center for America’s warfighter. Situated in an arid region of Southern California, NTC closely emulates the conditions found in the Middle East. DTS has successfully worked with NTC to train US Marines as part of Alternate Training Venues (ATVs).
USMC QUANTICO VIRGINIA
Covering nearly 100 square miles in Virginia, Quantico is a major training and educational center for the USMC. During 2007 Defense Training Systems successfully provided multiple MOUT training exercises for deploying Marines.
I MARINE EXPEDITIONARY FORCE (I MEF)
I MEF is a Marine Air Ground Task Force (MAGTF) based aboard Camp Pendleton in southern California. DTS continues to perform live training missions at Camp Pendleton’s numerous MOUT sites in support of pre-deployment training.
II MARINE EXPEDITIONARY FORCE (II MEF)
II MEF is a Marine Air Ground Task Force (MAGTF) based aboard Camp Lejeune in North Carolina. DTS has performed over 50 missions at Camp Lejeune and continues to support over 24 battalion sized training missions each year.

How To Obtain Training Support

Defense Training Systems is under contract via MARCORSYSCOM’s Program Manager for Training Systems (PMTRASYS) to provide Live Training Support Services world-wide for Home Station training needs.

To request training:

  1. Contact Ed Coyl, DTS Program Liaison (PH: 407.281.6093, E: ecoyl@anc8a.com) to initiate training request.
  2. DTS will setup an Initial Planning Conference (IPC) to determine your training requirements.
  3. Utilizing our existing contract with PMTRASYS APM Live, the government will produce a Scope of Work (SOW) and negotiate a price for the training package. Alternately DTS can work with your local Contracting Office to get your training under contract.
